Projects Delivery
The team at Pacific Community Housing is at work progressing a number of new projects. These new projects are aimed to provide a diversity of housing types to promote high quality livable places. Many of our new projects are specifically designed to include new community facilities such as parks, playgrounds, and picnic areas. We also seek to implement into our designs places to meet old friends and new alike, such as cafes, community rooms and gardens. All of our projects under planning and delivery are within close and easy connections to Sydney major transport. Below is a short list of some of the new projects under planning and delivery.

Woolooware | The project is designed by Sydney based award winning architects Stanisic Architects with support from Sturt Noble Landscape Architects. The building provides 9 new dwellings and is designed to compliment its location. | North facing air conditioned, one bedroom and studio dwellings. Each unit has a small study area. Project aimed at adult singles and couples of any age. Secure bicycle parking and storage will be supplied with each dwelling. | Communal open spaces and gardens. Rosebery
Heathcote | The building provides 18 new dwellings with basement car parking and is designed to compliment its location in a setting that has a number of large native trees. The project is designed by Sydney based award winning architects Stanisic Architects with support from Sturt Noble Landscape Architects. | A mix of large two bedroom, one bedroom appartments with workpaces and study. Car and scooter parking can be provided and all dwellings have large storage areas and secure areas for bicycles. | The project has a north facing aspect over bushland. Generous communal gardens and private areas are provided to relax. It is a short walk to the train, bus and the local shopping area. Transport links to major town centres , employment and recreation areas. |
Queen
Regents Park | A large urban renewal on a sprawling 2 hectare site in close walking distance to Regents Park Village. The project will have a large new community park.
The project is designed by Peter Smith of Smith and Tzannes Architects. | A multi building urban renewal project with 530 dwellings including a range of four, three, two bedroom and studio dwellings in terrace and apartment style formats. Basement car parking can be provided. | The project is in close proximity to major transport, the local school and shopping centre. A new cycle cafe and residents community centre will be provided that will link to the new cycle system that is being progressed with the project. There will be a large central park and smaller open space areas including community gardens and exercise areas. A childcare centre is proposed inside the project grounds. |
Gregory
Harris Park/Parramatta
The site is located within a triangle formed by three early Colonial NSW State listed historic properties and by the escarpment backdrop.
The project brings together a deep understanding of the natural and geological background at the tidal head of the Parramatta River, of the Aboriginal connections to country, of the evolving historic cultural and natural landscape of Harris Park with its three early 19th century cottage complexes, and of the urban context of the current site. The site planning and architectural massing have responded to this overlapping complexity to provide a well considered development proposal. | The project is delivered by Urban Planners and Development Mangers Pacific Planning in conjunction with Hallmark construction. The scheme is designed by Sydney based award winning architects Stanisic Architects with expert design and peer review advice from esteemed Architect Emeritus Professor Alec Tzannes. Specialist heritage Architectural expertise for the project is provided by Graham Brookes and GBA. The project design delivery is also collaboratively considered by the project team with the NSW Hertiage Council.

The project also includes approximately 13,000sq.m of landscaped area, a 3,000sq.m central park, and basement parking. | The project is in close proximity to major transport, the thriving Parramatta CBD, universities, cultural theaters, major sporting facilities, local schools , employment and shopping areas. A new heritage cafe and residents community centre will be provided that will link to the new heritage walk that is being progressed with the project. Sutherland Shire
This project consists of 4 terrace homes with landscpe gardens in close walking distance to Engadine town centre. The scheme is designed for families and has on site car parking. The dwellings cater for families that may have older teenage children or those with a older parents as members of the household in the dweelings designed as adaptable for the needs of older residents.
