James Matthews Bsc (Hons) dipJames is a town planner with over 18 years professional planning experience across local, state and private sectors in NSW. James holds a Bachelor of Science (City and Regional Planning) and Diploma (Town Planning). James is also the Planning Director at Pacific Planning, responsible for large and complex housing development projects and planning proposals with local councils and state government across Sydney. James is passionate about the delivery of affordable housing across projects facilitating the supply of housing to meet the needs of local communities and ensure everyone at every stage of life has access to affordable, safe and secure housing.Combining his extensive experience and qualifications in town planning in NSW with a passion for facilitating affordable housing within development projects progressing through the planning system, Pacific Community Housing are well positioned to achieve its mission to assist communities to access housing and to maintain links with their communities
Matthew Daniel MPM, MBA major PM, Grad Cert PlanningMatthew is the founding Director of Pacific Community Housing. He has held senior positions in the government and private sector for the past 25 years. Matthew has a passion to see the opportunity for access to safe and secure affordable housing for all that require it. As a newly formed Community Housing provider in 2019, Matthew is assisting the professional team at Pacific Community Housing specifically in the delivery of projects that are sustainable economically, socially, and environmentally. He is also a director of Pacific Planning which is an experienced urban planning and development management company based in Sydney. Pacific Planning has expertise in delivering complex large urban renewal projects. Matthew has both trade and academic qualifications, including post graduate qualifications in Business Administration, Project Management and Urban Planning.
Martin Musgrave, BEc(Hons)With over 25 years’ experience in policy, economic development and growth policy roles, Martin Musgrave’s primary role is as Chief Economist at Pacific Economics and Sustainability.Martin specialises in property development economics, providing economic advice to clients on viability, economic impact, cost benefit analysis, economic appraisals and business cases. Martin is also an experienced social impact consultant.Martin’s career includes leading the Policies and System Implementation team at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, Deputy CEO of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (Vic) and CEO of UDIA (National), and Manager of Financial and Macroeconomic Analysis with the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet.
